These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Own Your Hormones website and your purchase of tickets and services offered by Meaningful Events (Pty) Ltd. By using our website or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms in full.
Own Your Hormones is a campaign operated by Meaningful Events (Pty) Ltd, a registered private company in South Africa. References to we, us, or our in these terms refer to Meaningful Events (Pty) Ltd.
All ticket purchases are subject to availability. Tickets are only confirmed once full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent to the email address provided at registration.
Ticket prices are as displayed on the website at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to update ticket prices at any time. Price changes do not affect confirmed purchases.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm that all registration details provided are accurate and complete.
We understand that plans change. Our refund policy is as follows:
Cancellations by the ticket holder:
To request a refund, contact us at sj@meaningfulevents.co.za with your booking reference. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
In the unlikely event that Own Your Hormones cancels the festival, all ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket purchase price within 14 business days of the cancellation announcement.
If the event is postponed to a new date, ticket holders will be given the option to transfer their ticket to the new date or receive a full refund. Ticket holders must notify us of their preference within 14 days of the postponement announcement.
Own Your Hormones is not liable for any additional costs incurred by ticket holders as a result of cancellation or postponement, including travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
Tickets are non-transferable without the prior written consent of Own Your Hormones. If you are unable to attend and wish to transfer your ticket to another person, you must contact us directly at sj@meaningfulevents.co.za with the full name and contact details of the new attendee.
Approved transfers will be updated in our registration database. The new attendee must complete their own registration details before the event. Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain.
Ticket holders must present proof of their booking, either printed or on a mobile device, for entry to the event. Own Your Hormones reserves the right to refuse entry to any person who cannot provide valid proof of booking.
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward other attendees, speakers, staff, and venue personnel. Own Your Hormones reserves the right to remove any person whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or harmful without refund.
After Flow age restriction:
The After Flow evening experience is open to persons aged 18 and over only. Valid identification may be required for entry to the After Flow portion of the event. No refund will be issued to persons under 18 who are refused entry to After Flow where the full day conference has been attended.
Own Your Hormones may capture photographs and video footage at the event for use in marketing and promotional materials. By attending the event you consent to being photographed or filmed. If you do not wish to be included in any photography or footage, please notify a member of our team on the day.
All content on the Own Your Hormones website, including text, images, graphics, and logos, is the property of Meaningful Events (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.
Articles contributed by third party experts remain the intellectual property of the respective authors. Contributors grant Own Your Hormones a non-exclusive licence to publish and share their content across our platforms.
Own Your Hormones and Meaningful Events (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or attendance at our events, to the fullest extent permitted by South African law.
Our total liability in relation to any claim arising from a ticket purchase shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.
